Paper quality and uses

This leather bound journal comes with 200 120 gsm bleed-resistant hand-sewn sheets.

This paper is ideal for:
• sketching and shading with graphite pencils
• ink work with fountain pens or dip pens (for e.g. illustrations, calligraphy, drawing, hatching)
• ink liners and pointers
• markers and brush pens
• charcoals and charcoal pencils
• oil pastels and oil pastel pencils
• chalk pastels and chalk pastel pencils
• watercolor pencils
• light watercolor washes
• mixed media use

Make sure to use an appropriate sealant to avoid smudging.

Leather

We use only the highest quality full grain cowhide leather to make our products. This leather softens quicker than regular leather and has a finish that feels like suede.

Further, this leather will develop a natural patina over the years, making it even more beautiful and uniquely yours.

With proper care, this leather will last over 20 years.

I cannot show a picture of it being used because I am giving it to my son-in-law for a present this Christmas. He does a lot of writing and I know he will love it!!
